My long time best buddy Eric just got himself married to an awesome girl this past Saturday in Hamilton Ontario, and I was lucky enough to be his best man. I’ve known Eric since pre-school, he lived around the corner and we somehow managed to walk to school together virtually every day. I wasn’t entirely aware of my best man status until about a day before the wedding, but I managed to remember the rings and avoid any catastrophes. In lieu of an embarrassing best man speech (saw-horse) I was able to take a few snapshots of their beautiful wedding.

Marianne & Eric’s ceremony and reception took place in Luina Station, a stunning old train station that has since been converted for use as a banquet hall. It was a great experience seeing his whole family again, as well as meeting his new family, friends, and super fun bridesmaids in Hamilton.

I didn’t take too many photos because I was busy with other things… come to think of it, I’m actually not entirely sure how I made it to the airport for my 6:00am flight back to Vancouver, late night turkey dance off.

This weekend I shot the first Indian wedding I’ve attended since traveling through Jaipur. It was a vibrant occasion, with brightly colored saris and traditional Indian ceremonies. When the dance music came on I was forced to put my camera down to give my dance moves a brief cameo appearance. Out of respect for the couples request for privacy I wont be posting any photos of the newlyweds or their guests online, but here are a few token photos from the day.

A couple of week ago I shot Lori and Bob’s wedding in their beautiful garden in Shaughnessy. They were a fun energetic crowd from the afternoon ceremony through to a late night dance off at Le Crocodile, the whole day/night were heaps of fun. It’s taken a bit longer than usual to get their photos up because my editing suite has been sitting in the repair depot for longer than expected, but here are a few photos from the day.

Here are a few snaps from Candy and Stephen’s wedding this Saturday. The whole wedding day was heaps of fun, and Candy was the perfect bride to photograph because she was having a blast throughout the entire day (pristine church -> smelly fishing wharf).
