Junkyard Beer Fridge Project

I recently found an old rusty vintage refrigerator at the dump heading for the scrap pile. I scoped it out, and figured it still looked like it might work, plus I needed a new fridge for my home-brew. So I took it home, plugged it in and it clicked on immediately… so I got to work. After a few hours of sanding, painting, drilling and re-insulating… here is the result:

As you can see, the beer shanks didn’t quite make it all the way through the door, so I got creative and installed a custom “recessed baking-pan” to sort it out.
